About the Journal
Focus and Scope
As a double-blind peer review and open access journal, Advanced Journal of Economic Data Analytics (AJEDA) publishes original research manuscripts (articles), applied research, letters to the Editor, and systematic reviews covering varying topics in the disciplines of Economics, Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Research, and Transport Economics and Logistics Management. The topics include, but are not limited to, those below:
Peer Review Process
AJEDA does its peer-review via online. The manuscript is submitted online by the researcher. Afterwards, the editorial team screens the manuscript based on scientific quality. Only articles that meet the scientific quality requirements of AJEDA are sent for peer review. The peer review process is rigorous; it consists of at least two (2) peer reviewers who are appointed by the editor. Reviews are conducted objectively, that is, avoiding personal attacks. Reviewers are appointed on merit, that is, they are appointed based on research expertise and experience in the discipline. Once the reviewers are invited and accepted to review, the editorial team furnishes the peer reviewers with the manuscript together with the AJEDA peer review policy. For the review process, the peer reviewers are required to adhere to the manuscript guidelines and peer review policy. The AJEDA peer review is blind, where the author's identity and affiliation are anonymous. Reviewers are given a time frame of six weeks to complete the review. Upon completion of the review, reviewers are obliged to submit a report to the editorial team which details the suitability of the manuscript for possible publication in the AJEDA. The editorial team collates the reports from the two reviewers and decides on the suitability of the manuscript. The manuscript may be accepted with provision for major, minor, and or no revisions. The manuscripts may be rejected or returned to authors for further amendments before resending for further peer review. If reports from reviewers are conflicting, members of the editorial team may be called to make additional recommendations. Overall, the peer review process is double blind, meaning that the names of reviewers are anonymous to authors. The Editor can make final decisions on accepting or rejecting all the manuscripts.
