Conditions
A cover letter must be included with every manuscript, explaining that: (1) the research is original; (2) the manuscript or portions of it have not been published elsewhere before; (3) the manuscript is not presently being presented for publication elsewhere; and (4) all authors have read and approved the manuscript. Every manuscript must be accompanied by this signed statement attesting to its originality. An explanation of the manuscript's novelty, its relevance to the publication, and how the study enhances the area or body of evidence must all be included in the cover letter.

To make the review process more time efficient, authors are requested to nominate three (3) potential referees (the Journal is not bound to use these referees). These must be from a different institution from the first author and should not have been published with any author of the manuscript being submitted in the previous three (3) years. Complete information regarding the referees (Title, name, surname, e-mail address) must be provided in the cover letter. You will be requested to motivate why the nominated person is a potential referee for your manuscript.

Parts of the same work submitted for other issues of this journal are discouraged. In the accompanying letter to the editor, authors who submit an article from a study whose data have been or will be published elsewhere must give a compelling explanation. The cover letter must also include a rationale for not releasing all the data in a single publication. The author must ensure that the language of the manuscript is thoroughly edited (using either UK or South African English) before submission.

The manuscript should include an ethical clearance number provided by the legitimate ethics committee of a particular institution. If the manuscript is based on work that received an ethical clearance number, such as dissertations or theses, this number may be submitted, but the data and objectives of the manuscript should remain closely aligned with the main document. The procedures followed to obtain ethical clearance must be outlined in the manuscript under the heading 'Ethical clearance.' No manuscript will be published without this statement. Articles that are review, theoretical, or philosophical do not require ethical clearance.

Preparation of manuscript
Manuscripts submitted to the Advanced Journal of Economic Data Analytics (AJEDA) must be prepared in Microsoft Word for Windows (PC) format. All tables, figures, illustrations, diagrams, and graphs must be embedded in a format compatible with Word to ensure text and data accessibility for necessary corrections. Photographs should be submitted in JPG format to maintain clarity and consistency. The journal follows a structured format, and all manuscripts should be systematically organised to ensure clarity and coherence.

Original manuscripts must include the following sections in sequence: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Purpose of Research, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Practical Applications/Recommendations, Conclusions, Acknowledgements (if applicable), Conflict of Interest Statement, and References. For systematic reviews, theoretical, or conceptual papers, certain sections may not be applicable. Authors should ensure that appendices, if included, are concise and directly relevant to the manuscript.

Title page
The first page of each manuscript should contain the title in English, followed by the full names of all authors, including their academic titles, full first name, middle initials, and surname. The institutional affiliation of each author should be clearly stated, including the department, faculty, university, city, and country. When multiple authors from different institutions contribute to the manuscript, their affiliations must be numbered accordingly. The corresponding author should provide complete contact details, including their full mailing address, email address, and telephone numbers for work and mobile communication.

To ensure compliance with the double-blind peer review process, the title page must be submitted as a separate file. Authors should provide a short title, not exceeding 45 characters (including spaces), for use as a running heading. If any author details change during the review process, the corresponding author must inform the Subject Editor immediately.

Abstract
Each manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract of approximately 150-200 words in English. The abstract should provide a concise summary of the study, including the research aim, methodology, key findings, and implications. It must be formatted as a single paragraph with single spacing and set on a separate page to ensure clarity and accessibility for indexing purposes.

Below the abstract, authors must provide a list of three to seven keywords in English, which should be typed in alphabetical order. These keywords should be carefully selected to accurately represent the core themes of the manuscript, facilitating effective indexing and retrieval in academic databases.

Text
Appropriate headings and subheadings should be used, and the text should be centred. Also, the text should be one line space at 11 font size, New Roman.

Tables and figures
Tables and Figures are to be numbered accordingly with Arabic numerals (1, 2, etc.). The table and figures headings are required to be on top. The source of the table and figures is to be indicated below each of them, including the source.

References
In the text and reference list, Harvard style should be used. For example, in the in-text, Chukwuere (2018); Mah and Monitshwa (2020); (Samuels & Choga, 2019); Chukwuere et al. (2020) or (Choga, 2020: 14), the 14 indicates a direct quotation. Source numbers can be added to make a direct quotation. In the text, citations should be arranged in chronological order, like (Chukwuere, 2018; Mah & Monitshwa, 2020; Samuels and Choga, 2019). Importantly, use et al. (italics) in the in-text where you use more than two authors, but in the reference list, all the authors must be listed.

List of references
AJEDA encourages authors to only provide references cited in the text and use only references cited in the text in alphabetical order. Follow Harvard style in using Google Scholar or any other software like EndNote.
